PIONEERS IN DOWNTOWN CHANDLER:

The Assembly wishes to inform the community that two friends, Tasha and Cunningham Worth,  have offered to pioneer in downtown Chandler to assist with activities there. This has been a long-term wish of the Chandler Assembly. The Chandler Assembly has set aside a small amount of funds for a limited time period to assist these pioneers to get on their feet until they find regular work. The Assembly's hope is that the two friends will help support the teaching team in downtown Chandler specifically. That they will settle there “with a long-term dedication to becoming one with the population and to raising up and accompanying an expanding nucleus of individuals.” The Assembly hopes too that they will help ”establish the rhythm and pattern of expansion, training, and accompanying with an initial vision of seeing some tens of young people serving as animators, teachers, and in some cases as tutors, and to work systematically with families whose children and youth are engaged in each stage of the educational process.”
